Scholarships Office
General Information
The Scholarships Committee awards scholarships to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students according to both financial need and academic achievement, based on established university criteria.
Following the University Treasury’s procedures, all scholarship funds are first transferred by the Scholarships Division, which forwards them to the Tuition Department.
The Tuition Department then transfers any remaining balance to the student’s bank account after deducting outstanding university fees, if any.
All scholarships are awarded for a full academic year.
Students must report to the committee any changes in their personal or financial circumstances (such as a change of employment status, etc.) on the documents that were already submitted.
Scholarships may be suspended or revoked by the student or by the University, if a student discontinues studies, is dismissed from the university (including for disciplinary reasons), fails to fulfill donor recognition requirements, or provides false information in the application process.
The Scholarships Division also reviews and recommends candidates for external scholarship funds based on donor criteria. Candidates are selected from among those who have applied to the Scholarships Division.
Students who receive scholarships requiring volunteer activity may complete their service with an organization of their choice, provided they submit official confirmation from that organization.
.Recipients are required to write a thank-you letter, send a photo, or attend a ceremony, depending on the donor’s request.
Please note: Applications without supporting documents will not be processed.
